Laser welding
Nice, firm connections with minimal thermal load
Laser welding is one of the most important processes in laser technology. In contrast with other welding processes, very deep welded joints with nice looking, narrow seam widths can be obtained in laser welding.
As a result of the low but concentrated heat input, laser welding works with little or no deformation.
Any conventionally weldable iron, steel and aluminium materials can be processed with laser welding. In addition to this, laser welding often has advantages in the case of materials which are difficult to weld.
Larger gaps can be bridged or the metallurgy of the weld controlled through the use of filler material.
